The 360 lost momentum in the sense that it's outsold by both competitors this year and the price cut in Europe showed that Microsoft needs indeed more than a price cut, if they want to have better sustained hardware sales than Sony.

The sad thing is that analysts get paid for saying things we already knew since months.

how is an increase in sales a loss of momentum????  360 sales are up year on year for 07 and 08.

 

You are kidding, right? They are losing marketshare. That matters a lot more than an increase in raw sales.
