While VF traditionally opted for a no-frills, competition-focused experience, this new installment, developed by AM2, RGG Studio, and Atlus, will feature a robust story mode that takes a lot of cues from Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode. Series stalwarts like Akira, Pai, Wolf, and Sarah, appear older and more hardened.
It has been 20 years since VF5 first released, and I am definitely ready for this. After so long of Tekken being the only game in town for 3D fighters, and with the upcoming Dead or Alive 7, I am hoping to see a 3D fighting game renaissance.
