Yep price increase had a effect.

That is an unfiar comparison. 247K was not the average Switch 2 week. The price increase will surely have some effect, but the biggest effect it has right now is giving the Switch 2 holliday numbers in the middle of May.

Yeah, it's disingenuous to cite that percentage drop as an example of the effect of the price increase when the number was so abnormally high before.  I admit that I was hoping for more than 31k this week myself when you consider that Switch 2 is the only popular current gen system in the region, but it's not like it fell 85% from its normal baseline or anything, lol.

The important thing going forward is that the baseline goes back to a respectable level when compared to what it was before sales soared a few weeks ago, which I believe it will when you consider that Splatoon Raiders is coming next month and whatever news we get from the Direct next week.
