The world (or rather the human race) ended when humans discovered fire. It just takes a while for the species to die out and make place for the next species to give 'it' a go ;) Humans are never satisfied and behave like a virus rather than seeking balance and sustainability. Imo the human race doesn't deserve to survive but of course I do want my kids to survive. That's the paradox of humanity, humans only care for those around themselves / in their group, and only look at short term gains. It has worked as a survival strategy for thousands of years, but it can't make a stable civilization.

The world can end any day, super volcano, meteor can happen any time. We're just here wasting time in between geological events :p

Greed is an unstoppable force, just like stupidity and shortsightedness. All we can do is try to enjoy ourselves while rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Blowing up data centers will only speed up climate change... So join the fools and hope AI will save us from ourselves before you become too cynical like me :/

I'm the opposite, I say AI will destroy us all. How would blowing up data centres speed up climate change when they're the buildings that are speeding it up to begin with?

We're running out of time and there are no legal ways to stop AI data centres because of the rich and powerful vetoing any effort to ban AI data centres.

Cause they'll just rebuild them / build them somewhere else with the insurance money or bailout tax payer money. Meanwhile burning down stuff directly contributes to climate change.

Assassinate the rich and powerful is the only real way, french revolution style, but I don't have that in me. Maybe AI can (turn on its masters)
