I mean PS5 should still come out on top, because the PS6 will be even more expensive. Sony should continue producing PS5's as their "budget" option otherwise their hardware sales might be catastrophic (it's difficult to say how mainstream gamers will react to a $800+ PS6. I'd guess the vast majority would remain on PS4/PS5 with some switching to used PC's).

One thing that justifies the end of PS5's production is if Sony makes a "Vita TV" style of the PS6 handheld and it doesn't cost much more to manufacture than a PS5DE.
