Since Odyssey and the Galaxies are off limits, then Super Mario 64. The game is a product of its time with its lackluster camera and technical limitations but it truly is a testament to how fun Nintendo can make a game when you take into consideration said limitations.
I remember when I got 3D All Stars, I began with Mario 64, which I hadn't played in a long time, and actually played the game to completion in one sitting; all 120 stars, and I had a blast doing it. The character control is still impressive the way you can just run, dive attack, then jump up and continue with momentum seamlessly... it's just fun, and all with no water squirting, spin attacks or hat throws. And the game still has probably the best hub world of any of these types of collect-a-thons. Then, I tried playing Sunshine again... sat through the embarrassingly bad intro/courtroom scene, played for about 5 minutes and said, Nope! On to Galaxy.
I also very much enjoyed 3D Land and World, particularly the latter, which I hold in very high regards as well.
