It's really not "short-sighted" or "fanatical" to dislike AI, some of us simply don't see its use cases as being worth its multitude of negative, damaging, and harmful aspects.

Personally, I have never once wanted or needed to use AI, it doesn't benefit me in any way, its net effect has pretty much just been slop shoved in my face 24/7 while prices rise, resources are wasted, corps use it as an excuse to fire people, and everything gets progressively shittier.

From my point of view, it's simply a net negative for society and the world.
