Do you think those war crimes wouldn't happen without AI? Just because war crimes are committed with the help of AI doesn't mean they wouldn't happen otherwise. At least I don't see how war crimes happened less often in the wars some decades ago.
And then you have to forbid computers because they are used for war crimes. And without computers people will use pen and paper to plan their war crimes so let's forbid that as well...
AI will be used in wars but those wars wouldn't be nicer without it.
Then we have robots and drones. Robots will be a huge part in future wars and drones are already but those don't even need AI because they could also be controlled by humans far away. So let's forbid humanity to work on anything robotic or anything which can fly.
