What i like about Furukawa is that he is expanding Nintendo's development base when the rest of the industry is contracting and doing layoffs, he is even building a massive new EPD building. That shows that unlike other businessmen he has a long term strategic view rather than only thinking about maximizing short term profits by doing layoffs. Instead he is betting on a beefed up Nintendo delivering even more first party output in the future.
