You are most optimistic than I am. I hope to be wrong, and very well could, but I would be stunned if the ps6 isn't $800.
The ps5 is roughly a 6700xt, the ps6 needs to be targeting a 7800xt to have a large leap? I mean that is a $600+ GPU straight up. I think anything less than 32 gb of ram is a terrible idea, so add another $400.. still need a PSU, CPU, MB, case, storage, etc. I get Sony will get better pricing, but I don't see how they could possibly stay anywhere near $600.
