I play at home on my TV, with my Switch 2 docked and using the Switch 2 Pro Controller.
When I'm going to something where I know I will be sitting for a long time with nothing to do, such as getting car maintenance, or flying, my Switch 2 comes with me. It passes the time in flight and in the airport while waiting to board/during layovers. If I'm not going somewhere where I will have a lot of downtime, I won't bother bringing any games.
I don't play in the car. Law enforcement frowns on me playing games in the car while I'm driving, so I don't do it.
