Do you prefer the generations that were competitive, or one-sided?

I adore WW.  And pikmin is top 5 franchises and so is LM.  I also loved wave race.  

Yeah I adore BOTW, it's one of my favourite games as well, but I think a lot of Zelda fans feel it diverges quite far from series tradition. I can see why; by Skyward Sword the formula put forth by Ocarina was starting to get long in the tooth, so Nintendo decided a radical overhaul was needed to address declining sales. Commercially, it was absolutely the right call, but I can see why some miss the old formula.

Absolutely the right call and the games are amazing.  I just hope Nintendo occasionally goes old school with a Zelda here and there.  

Twilight is my favorite Zelda.  Once Mouse is finished, I am going to use Dusk for 4k, 120 fps and texture packs.
