Little Big Planet failed twice with 3 and the Sackboy game, it would not be wise going back to it right now, let it sit quiet for a good while.

Despite being a LBP fan (OG), I don't really care for a sequel ATM unless there's some really fresh ideas. Having said that Sackboy sold 1.2 by Feb 2022 if Insomniac leaks are legit. Not huge but probably 2m by now including PC.

Not bad for a solid but uneventful entry. I think the IP still has power in that regard, so could always be a fall back. They could probably get a 3-4m hit if media molecule took reign again and sprinkled a bit more magic on it.

I think if we can all agree that MM are an inventive studio who can make interesting games, then tackling LBP shouldn't be an issue; they can reinvent it if needed.

LBP ran it's course. Also for a studio that inventive, be kinda restricting to just do another of a tired IP. Let them do a couple smaller projects.

they'll most likely die if they do a couple of smaller projects. I don't think they can take Bend's lead and produce very little for years and years and still get projects.
