Depends on what the competition is.

SNES vs. Genesis was great. Sixth generation was great, while heavily lopsided towards the PS2 in a way not seen since the NES days, but I enjoyed the Gamecube a lot.

7th generation was my least favorite console generation despite the three way competition.
