As in, they are spreading their advantages in each district thinner to get more people elected, but they now risk to get all washed away by a blue wave as the previously safe red seats could now be not so safe anymore due to watering down their advantage to take over some blue seats.

It's not that unlikely we'll see Hispanics at D+40 in the midterms. It alone would make the most recent Texas and Florida gerrymanders moot.

And if the national scenario is anywhere close to D+15 like the recent AtlasIntel poll, then, well...
