Yet another Switch 2 announcement that leaves me wondering what happened to Nintendo...almost every decision they have made this gen is just BAD. They've gotten so complacent this gen, feels like they just completely gave up on their fans. Really who cares about a remake when people have been dying for a new Star Fox for so long. Every single time I wonder if Nintendo is gonna try to turn this gen around and actually start making decisions that would make me potentially have even a little interest in the Switch 2 (which really isn't hard as a primarily Nintendo gamer for nearly 4 decades now) it's just another swing and miss.

I guess the only upside is that they went down to more reasonable $50/$60 pricing for this rather than $60/$70, that at least is surprising for Nintendo these days.

(also agree on SF64 being super short. I remember beating it the day I got it, first time I'd ever beaten a game the day I bought it and I was like ummm really?? that's it? lol. It's a good game and sure there are multiple paths and multiplayer but that day back in '97 or whatever it was I couldn't believe the game was so short and easy that I beat it after just a few hours the day I bought it, gave me such an empty feeling even though it was a fun game. And even with the multiple paths and multiplayer it had to have been one of my least played N64 games just cuz there wasn't much to it)
