| firebush03 said: Wait I just realized: It’s been three weeks since Tomodachi Life. Nintendo’s been very consistent with a release every three weeks, and we are overdue for a new NS2 Edition. Not getting my hopes up, but perhaps we’ll be getting a NS2Edition shadow drop this week? |
I called it!!! Wow!!!! I cannot wait to watch this Star Fox Direct later today. That's insane!
In even bigger news: Ocarina of Time Remake is all-but-confirmed!!! Oooh yes! This year is a strong one for Nintendo— an extremely consistent lineup during H1 followed by Ocarina of Time Remake, Star Fox, Rhythm Heaven, Splatoon, Fire Emblem in the H2. Madness!
Edit: Ah... is this the fourth remake of SF64? In any case, I've never played 64, so it'll be wholly original for me. Plus I'm just happy to see a Star Fox revival almost all but confirmed— Nintendo often restores stagnant franchises by first doing remasters/remakes. Metroid: Samus Returns (2017), Famicon Detective Club (2021(?)), Link's Awakening (2019), TLoZ:WW/TP (2013/2016) (TLoZ was being rebooted at this time), and TTYD Remake (2024) (PM is likely being rebooted now that Tanabi is retired. This title was not led by Tanabi but his (very likely) successor). They do this in order to rediscover what made a franchise resonate.
