Coflictiing reports as to why from generic didn't meat SEGA's standards (bullshit, some of the stuff released lol) but one of the devs talked about how Yuji Naka pulled rank to have the game killed to use the engine for possible future Sonic Team projects. Knowing how much of a dick Yuji Naka is and some of the shit he pulled on Sonic Xtreme I believe it. There is a build online but it's far from finished. Even the dev said what is online is not what the final state of the project was before being cancelled. I am still mad to this day and I always post it in topics like this for over 20 years lol. I will do so until I die.

As a big Starfox fan, it's painful to see this; I'd never heard of it before but it looks awesome.
