I say that because I have been playing nothing but current gen for a few months and cranked up bloodborne.  It put into perspective how massive the jump from ps4 to ps5 was.  Blood, still a great game...  grainy, jaggies everywhere, very clearly low resolution, lighting is very meh and of course 30 fps.  

It didn't look half as good as I remembered.  Not sure if that is a me thing or we all experience it.  

Yeah I've certainly had moments where I've revisited a game that blew me away in its time, and gone "wow, this is showing its age."

Doom 3 and Riddick on the OG Xbox blew my mind as a teenager, but looking at them now, the years have not been kind.

Yeah, Bloodborne blew me away last night, so does not look like I thought it.  I still think style ages well, so something like DK Bananza will age amazing.
