I don't tend to really get disappointed with games because I tend to follow the moto "It's just entertainment, you shouldn't worry"

That's said, there are of course many games I expected to be awesome and ended being quite bad unfortunately

Civ 7 - Literally build a PC to play this... I put on 60 hours on it I think, which is absolutely nothing compared to the over 600h I have in both V and VI. Damn this game is all over the place, really felt like a Beta GaaS but the backlash following the weird progression and poor non-military gameplay made them scrap most of the releases and come back to redesign it entirely. Still waiting for the 2.0 version

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2: The first one is a cult classic, despite the jarring issues and problematic controls, it still a good RPG with an interesting and atmospheric world. I enjoy how interactive and open it is, specially considering it's time. Unfortunately Bloodlines 2 is bad like REALLY bad. It has PS3 levels of clunkness totally unacceptable by a 2025 game, and it's certainly a poor RPG. Couldn't go over 8 hours

Astral Chain: Was expecting and epic action game, got a mixed bag action game with horrendous art design, annoying side characters and pathetic story. Even the gameplay loop is unnefective, ranging from utterly boring police/investigation quests and confusing mini puzzles and platforming in whatever the astral dimension is called

Recently Dispatch. Checked it because Clair Obscure devs recommended. All around mediocre story game, with meaningless choices in every chapter and a core management gameplay that NEVER improves past chapter 2. Instead of game designers, here you will only find artists trying to make an animated movie I guess
