I've never understood peoples complaints about the controls. I'm left handed and never had any issues. It takes a little bit of time to get used to, but once it clicks the controls are great.

They were convoluted and unnecessary. It was a desperate attempt to prove the Wii U gamepad was not a mistake. Same thing with the inclusion of Star Fox Guard (which was just Night Trap) Turns out it was a mistake and by 2015 Wii U's fate was sealed. At least Giant Robot was cancelled. (possibly repurposed for Labo, dunno for sure).
