There's nothing wrong with feeling excited for upcoming games. It's not even a matter of wanting to see games that are 6 months away either, although there's nothing wrong with that either, at this point we don't even know what will be releasing in 2 months, the schedule is blank beyond next month.

This in turn creates the impression, inaccurate or not, that the system does not have big games on the way. For some people who just spent $450 on a Switch 2, that's annoying and disappointing.

At this point, Nintendo's secrecy is starting to diminish a lot of people's excitement for Switch 2, and I question the wisdom of this strategy.

Curl, to reword my previous post: I agree, it is fine to want to know what’s coming. What I’m talking on are those who are so fixated on that “HYPE!” fix that their sites lock onto a “dull state of gaming” when they can’t see the dozens of highly acclaimed titles releasing on a weekly basis.

Do you not agree with this? You’re fighting a ghost here.

It depends on who we are talking about that's saying it I think; if we're talking about Youtubers, then they're just riding the grifter/outrage bandwagon to get clicks and hence revenue.

If we're talking about say commenters on social media, a lot of that is just people being trolls.

Who is it we're mostly talking in this case?
