Artemis II mission sets new record for the furthest humans have been from Earth

NASA's Artemis II astronauts have reached a distance of 406,000 kilometres from Earth, breaking the record held by the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission in 1970.

The mission is the first time humans have circled the far side of the moon since 1972.
