I wouldn't... as in even want a remake.
OOT was like Sgt. Peppers from the Beatles. It was this thing that came out at a particular moment in history that redefined everything we knew about gaming (and for some, a little bit about ourselves in the bargain). It was like Star Wars, or freakin' E.T. It was transcendent. Once-in-a-lifetime. Unrepeatable.
And so a remake? No. It can't do that again. It can get shinier. It can get better frame rates. It can gain lifelike textures and clearer audio. It can do things that the original and its players never even dreamed possible.
But it can't do what the original did.
Ever.
