How is it just as a single player experience, for someone who's played the base game and just want some extra solo content? I am interested, but the upgrade is a bit pricey. Hope you enjoy Forgotten Land; are you updating it to the Switch 2 edition/Star Crossed World expansion? |
The single player experience is all that I got to play— the multiplayer content (of which there is a lot) cannot even be as much as previewed if you aren’t with another friend from you Friend list or couch co-op.
That said, single-player left me very impressed. Not sure what else I can say beyond my initial post TBH… what are you curious about in particular, I guess I should ask? The missions were very fun and creative, and are a significant bump in difficulty compared to the base game; I really found how they incorporated the Poplins into the Captain Toad Brigade to be super charming; etc.
Also: Yep! NS2 Edition. Apparently I bought the $20USD upgrade back in August, so lucky me lol.
