Define in a logical way how GoG is a waste, please. If a game is available on both Steam and GoG, for the same price, what would I be wasting by purchasing it on GoG and not on Steam? I'll have access to the very same game that I wanted to have on the very same hardware that I own. You don't need to choose only one storefront to play your games on PC. You can have both, and more. |
Well, your position is inherently false. Spiderman, Souls, Resident Evil (new ones), Stellar Blade, Halo, Forza, etc... aren't on GoG.
Their selection is too limiting, if I am going to buy 95% of my games on Steam.. then 95% of my library is what it is.
If GoG had the same selection, which they don't, then I would agree. Let me know when GoG has the same selection.
Edit
And even the games added to GoG (AAA games), typically are delayed... 6 months+. God of War was added to GoG 2 years after Steam. I already bought the game. Why buy it a second time?
Personal opinion, but 100% of my games being at an imaginary risk versus only 98% of my games being at said imaginary risk, sorry but I don't see the massive gain there.
