Dark Outlaw Games, the PlayStation first party founded by former COD Zombies Director Jason Blundell, is reportedly shutting down

Dark Outlaw Games was a new studio Sony opened in March 2025, lead by Jason Blundell, former Treyarch developer who was the Executive Producer on CoD Black Ops 1, Campaign Design Director on Black Ops 2, Game Director for both Campaign and Zombies on Black Ops 3, and Zombies and Career Director on Black Ops 4. They were developing their first game for the last year, presumably a co-op title similar to CoD Zombies.
