Thank you all for your thoughts! I understand that some of you could probably think that I don't have a broad taste in music, but my point was actually something different.
If you read the comments under this video on YouTube, then you can see that I'm not the only one who got goosebumps and tears in the eyes from this song. This probably happens if music resonates with you, which could have something to do with your personal experiences in life.
If we are at point, where artificial intelligence is able to plausible express and cause human feelings, art like music is in serious trouble. AI can be a colleague or competitor. I'm a musician by myself and I think it's alarming if more than 100.000 songs are uploaded daily on Deezer and 30.000 of those are generated with AI.
I thought that you can expose AI music pretty easily. Often there are digital artifacts or distortion in the voice, reverb which cuts off abruptly and a pretty weird or random song structure, combined with a low quality production. I think we're already at a point where these last mistakes are disappearing and probably in a very short time you can't tell the difference anymore if a song is made by humans or AI.
