The hard stuff in Astro Bot was good too, but I thought it felt really out of place. When I played Astro Bot, I was there for a game of good vibes, not a feeling of achievement after thorough hardship.

The Legends mode is free if you have Ghost of Yotei (as you do) and you can play solo, yes, everytime you choose a story quest, survival or incursion it will ask if you want to match with other people or not. I think you'll have bots addressed to you at least in survival as it's literally impossible to play it solo (as you have to defend 3 separared bases at the same time), tho.

Oh, it's not Legends whose price I care about - because it's free just like you said - it's PS+ that I absolutely despise. Anyway, sounds like there might be something for me to try out even without PS+, although survival sounds like free weekend stuff for me. Thanks for the details! I read up a bit about Legends when it was released but I don't think the solo part was mentioned anywhere then. I'm currently playing something else, so I'll have to wait until I try Legends, but we'll see if it does indeed work in solo mode without PS+ like GoT did.
