Sony PlayStation Store

I created my PlayStation Network account at June 23rd 2007 while setting up my PS3, which arrived the same day. Of course I downloaded some demo versions.

Two weeks later (07/07/2007) I bought my first digital PlayStation game: the PS3 version of "Lemmings"... partly because I wanted to try out the digital payment process of the PlayStation store, but also due to my deep love of the Lemmings series since Amiga days.

In September 2007 I got "LocoRoco Cocoreccho", in 2008 I bought "Super Stardust HD" + "PAIN" to test my 3D TV, also "Siren: Blood Curse", "Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty", "Echochrome", the "Metal Gear Solid"-DLC for "LittleBigPlanet" and a lot of "SingStar" songs. There was also a good digital deal for "inFamous" in 2009, which I couldn't pass up.

After that a long pause, but in 2012 I started again buying PS Store games... mainly digital games for my PS Vita (PSP, PS1 and Vita games), also crossbuy games Vita + PS3 or Vita + PS4.

My only PS Store buys over €20 (so far): "Siren: Blood Curse" (PS3) , "inFamous" (PS3), "Tearaway" (Vita), "The Last of Us Remastered" (PS4), "LittleBigPlanet 3" (PS4), "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" (PS4) and "Zero Time Dilemma" (Vita).

Microsoft Xbox Marketplace

I never connected my original Xbox to the internet.

Although I created my Xbox Live account while setting up my Xbox 360 at European launch day (December 2nd 2005), I bought my first digital Xbox game in early 2009: Xbox360 version of "Banjo Kazooie". Until then, I only downloaded free add-ons (a few cars for PGR3, a Kameo Ko-op mode...) demos and game trailers.

A few months later "Shadow Complex", "Banjo Tooie" and a few "Rock Band" songs followed. In 2011 I bought the "Alan Wake" DLCs "The Signal" & "The Writer", when they were on sale.

Never bought any Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series game digitally for more than 20 bucks.

Nintendo eShop

My first digital game for Nintendo hardware was "Pullblox / Pushmo" for the 3DS in 2012. The next year "Gunman Clive", "Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon" and "Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destiny" followed.

In 2014 I got the digital WiiU version of "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD" for preordering the retail version of Mario Kart 8. I also bought both the additional MK8 courses digitally.

In 2015 there were some great eShop deals for the WiiU: I got the "Metroid Prime Trilogy" (Wii), "Donkey Kong 64" (N64) and "Donkey Kong Returns" (Wii) for 10 bucks each, the SNES-games "Super Mario World" + "A Link to the Past" for one buck each and "Xenoblade Chronicles" for 20 Euros.

My only eShop buys over €20 (so far): "Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies + DLC (3DS)", "Ace Attorney 6: Spirit of Justice + DLC (3DS)"... and "Mario Kart World" if we count the difference between the barebone "Switch 2" hardware and the MKW-bundle.
