Stuff like deepfake revenge/child porn, workers being laid off en masse, AI scams and misinformation, skyrocketing prices for electronics/water/etc, rampant slop content clogging the internet, the devaluation of art, environmental damage, etc aren't what "could happen", they are happening right now. You don't have to "think hard enough" to find the negatives, the applications of AI in its current form are overwhlemingly negative.

What art are devalued? Is the Mona Lisa 40 bucks now? What electronics and water(?) are skyrocketing in prices because of AI? What environmental damage? How is AI to blame for any of this? I dont even know what the deepfake thing is... I mean putting a different face on a child being abused is not really the big concern in that situation.

AI data centers drive up utility costs and waste water and electricity: https://blog.carnegieinvest.com/data-centers-are-driving-up-utility-bills-but-is-that-fair

The propagation of AI content devalues real art by flooding online platforms with meaningless slop and burying genuine human expression.
