Which was the better "cut down" model, Xbox Series S or Switch Lite, and why?

I like the idea of the Series S on paper, but no disc drive kinda kills it for me as I prefer buying games physically.
Then again, Switch Lite isn't my jam either as I play almost exclusively on the TV.
