The irony here is how your argument itself has turned into an equivocation fallacy because again I've explained the context of what you're triggered by, the need for hype turns leads into what I highlighted a case point is that E3 with the PS4 where FFVIIR and so on where all announced and the games didn't release for years but sure keep crying over it another example is Metroid Prime 4.
Your Pokopia part was edited after I replied but I'll address it as it further highlights the hype addiction being pointed out as that game was in the timescale you're suggesting and guess what people are still wanting an ND and so on for more, we even have FE which is likely in the same period and people are only concerned about what else is coming. This is a text book example of what I highlighted earlier in that they want announcements for the sake of hype and will lead to games being announced years off from release, note that I'm saying that's where it leads to before you throw more toys out the pram.
