It's noticeable because we have social media and Youtube simple as that and that's on top of an economy of engagement on these platforms so no it's nothing new, were you even paying attention during the Switch 1's run? I can link you a threads of negativity just from this site alone you can also look up Rol's Open Your Eye's thread for further reference.

The narrative of doing a bad job is yours though this hasn't come from anyone else, that part of the argument is your own point that was addressed.

Do you know what a strawman argument is because the context in what you replied to doesn't fit that at all, we know what's coming in the recent months the is a whole thread dedicated to it this week alone has Fatal Frame 2 and Monster Hunter Stories 3 while next month we have Pragmata and Tomodachi and the month following that we have Yoshi and First Light with Rebirth and Adventures of Elliot the month after so we already have an idea of what's coming in the next 4-6 months  unless you only follow and want a certain type of game.

Yes. I know what a strawman argument is. I'm not sure you do.

A strawman argument is when are arguing against a position that nobody has presented. Nobody has suggested that Nintendo needs to announce everything five years in advance. So, when you bring that up, you are arguing against a strawman. It is also a false dichotomy, presenting an extreme option as the only alternative. So I got two logical fallacies for the price of one.

You are also completely changing the scope of the discussion. We were clearly talking about Nintendo's first party output and their announcement cadence. So, bringing up third party games is irrelevant.

What I said was it is reasonable for people to know what Nintendo will be releasing in the next four to six months. We in fact do not know what will be coming out in the next 4 to 6 months. As, correct me if I'm wrong, Yoshi is the latest first party title that has a release date, we know what is coming out in the next one to two months and a half months. That is a much shorter timespan, which is the whole point of this discussion.

And I believe this is creating a negative perception among gamers. Other people seem to have noticed the same. I don't know how to and wouldn't want to do a survey of the entire internet, so that's not something I can really back up with exact evidence. If you disagree, fine. If Nintendo doesn't change course, we'll see how the sales go.
