I actually have a few friends from Iran, and you have to be kidding me..  you think women are happy in Iran?  LGBTQ?  Are you really not aware of rights in Iran?

My take, probably my last post, is people are viewing this situation as a Disney movie.  Meaning they are looking for the hero and villain.  This isn't Disney.  Trump is a dangerous tyrant.  Iran had 60% enriched U-235, power plants require 2-5%...  there isn't a long list of reasons to have 60% enriched U-235.  Perhaps there are no heros and there are multiple villains?  Just my opinion, you are entitled to be respected for yours.

US attacking Iran is still bad. There might not be good guys but there is very easily a worse guy. One of US-israel's first attacks was a school, killing 100s of girls. US bombing doesn't help women and queer people in iran. Don't do thag pink washing bs.

The invasion is not some liberatory move by US. They just want a puppet in iran. Israel wants a destoyed iran. Even looking at the kill count tells you what each side is targeting. Most of the places iran attacked have death less than 10 and casualties no where close to 100.

US-israel have killed more than a 1000. US-Israel are mostly targeting schools, hospitals and civilian areas plus infrastructure.  Iran is mostly targeting military infrastructure and assets. US are the more evil side and critical support to iran in this specific war.

@Chrkeller your friends in Iran would be living a democratic society if not for Western interference. The CIA assassintated Iran's democratically elected leader, Mohammad Mossadegh, in 1951. Why? Because he noticed BP (British Petroleum) was screwing them over in their oil deal. He wanted Iran to get their fairshare so they killed him. It's never about the liberty of a people. The domino effect from this act caused the chain of events that lead to the current Iranian regime. If the current regime towed the line of Western interests. Israel, the US, EU, etc. would give zero fucks about rights of women and th LGBT community. We can see this in how they interact with Saudia Arabia amongst other nations. It's always about what's best for Western interests. Thomas Sankara, the former leader of Burkina Faso, was assassinated for similar reasons as Mohammad Mossadegh.
