Sure..  at $600 (seems like the lowest possible ps6 price) and $80 a year for online...  and more expensive games.  I think we live in a world of convenience: Amazon, Netflix, Disney Fast Pass, Smartphones, etc.  I don't see people, in a world of convenience, owing 3 consoles + a PC.  People will make choices.  I know I have. 

  

If there is enough games to play to yield a purchase, people will purchase. Not every PC gamer, but if like 5% of Steam users decide to invest in a console is already a huge win for Sony
