What are you going to use it for? I hope it's not to watch movies on PC, because I read earlier this year that you can no longer do that on modern PC hardware (here, on Club386).

Well, that's a bummer.

I chose the UHD 4K for those movies, but otherwise it's mostly because I have a huge list of games on discs that I want to try and play with the new Dosbox Pure, As Windows 11 24H2 has broken support for several of those games and finding hacks or mods to get around those issues is getting more and more difficult.

Another reason is that through 30 years on PC I have amassed a ton of data that I'd love to archive, so the MDisk functionality was pretty important to me. And believe ir or not, I have almost an entire external hard drive full of pictures my wife took with her phones, which I also would love to store somewhere more permanent and save the drive for other purposes.
