Just got started with Metroid Prime 4 Beyond today. Cannot comment much— only got to the second save point. However, I must say, a LOT of criticism thrown at this game is really is overblown. In particular, If you turn off the Character Voices and Subtitles, you get a far more “isolated” and “mysterious” experience. None of this Myles McKenzie screaming and shouting what to do, where to look, and “OMG! Is that Samus Aran?!”
Oh, and Welcome Tour! I finished that today. Playtime came out to 13hr. Definitely worth the $10USD IMO. Learned a ton about all the little nuances and details that went into designing the Switch 2 system. Plus, the arcade games are…um… excruciatingly demanding lol. I loved it! Highly recommend giving this game your time if you haven’t already.
