As infamous as SwitchForce might be for his “clickbait” YouTube content, he’s been 100% on-the-mark in his reports/rumors/leaks over the past 12 months. If he’s saying it’s coming, then it’s very likely coming.

EDP 8 was rumored (back in 2021) to have been split into two teams: 3D DK, 3D Mario. If you do a headcount in the DKBananza staff roll, you’ll notice that a big chunk of Mario Odyssey team is missing. No doubt this game has been in development since as early as 2018.

Still far too early for a new 3D Zelda.

Zelda TotK development wrapped up in March 2022. Five years is the longest gap between any mainline entry, so it’s not unreasonable to expect a 2028 (maybe 2027?) release. If Nintendo does need until 2029/2030, however, then I think we should expect a major remake dropping in the meantime, which would be revealed this or next year.
