Game is at an 88 on MetaCritic after the review embargo passed.
So much for “RE6 all over again”. Even YongYea’s review says it greatly balances Grace and Leon’s sections and it doesn’t feel jarring shifting between the classic survival horror sections of the former and the more action-packed segments of Leon’s.
Not gonna lie, when I saw the “We need to talk” tagline in the thumbnail, I was expecting a negative review or at least some gripes, but nope, he said the game plays and balances great.
