To me, 13 years since that's when A Link Between Worlds released. I despise the shift of BotW and TotK was supposedly more of the same so I avoided it. Echoes of Wisdom was nice but didn't feel like a proper Zelda game either. I'm expecting to wait a long time, possibly forever.
If I go with my full top 5, I realised it's even more bleak lol.
Super Mario and Metroid got games fairly recently so those aren't too bad.
But the other two are Ace Attorney (10 years) and Castlevania (19 years)... ouch. At least they announced a new Castlevania.
