But SSM wanted the GoW remake in house for them and makes sense since that project is only in the early stages. In light of this new information also that it was BP who had initially proposed to do a live service game and then couldn't get any decent ideas greenlit after that, it seems like this is kind of BluePoint's own fault in the end imo. |
I agree with this.
In my opinion they pitched the GOW remakes and Sony said no but here's the thing, the original Kratos voice actor said the games are going to be worked basically from the ground so they clearly wanted something more than what BP did with their previous work and they lost faith in them after the problems with their previous project.
