I like how they all look together, but if you already have a PS5 think about it a bit more, specially if money is an issue. Trying to convert to USD and the usual 10x we have for console prices here, I paid $270 for the XSX, used. For comparision I paid $360 for the PS5 in 2022 (horizon bundle), and $310 for the NS2 last year (standard version, paid $330 for it plus a NS1 themed headset), both brand new, tho. I don't think it's a optimal choice, but I'm fine with having all 3 right in front of me now. It's also quite heavier than I antecipated, lol, and it does look like it is very well built, think about the Gamecube for comparision. If I recall right you love the Xbox 360 games, right? Might have some good upgrades by owning the Series too, like Sonic Generations, people say it's a big upgrade playing it on the Series. |
Yeah financially it's not really a good investment, I may just wait and get one second hand down the line, it's purely just my "gotta catch em all" caveman brain talking.
Right now I can snag a preowned Series X for around $550 AUD ($389 USD) but I don't really need it technically as I can play pretty much all its games on PS5 now.
I do quite like the way it looks and I generally like Xbox's controllers a lot. I'm nearly done as far as the 360 games go, just a few games left to mop up, though there are several Xbone titles I wanna try. (I do have an Xbone to play those though)
