My opinion on Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green is pretty much my opinion every time people complain about prices in gaming.
It's not food. It's not water. It's not housing. It's not medicine. It is a luxury product.
It's fine if you don't like the pricing but acting like the Pokemon Company and Nintendo are doing something immoral is just silly. Save your outrage for things that actually matter.
For me personally, I'm going to definitely buy Fire Red. Maybe even both versions down the line. The ability to play on the go, not having to worry about the save battery, and integration with Pokemon Home make this the best version to play. And for the price of a burrito and chips, a movie and popcorn, 4 comic books, like 3 character costumes in Street Fighter 6. I'm fine with paying. I'm pretty sure out of the ways I could potentially spend 20 bucks, this is one of the ones that I'll get more happiness out of.
