Asking this question now is also gonna favour the PS2 cos it was a lot of our demographic's childhood, where those who grew up on Switch are either still kids or unlikely to be frequenting a forum like VGChartz. (Or forums in general for that matter, those are more the place for Millennials/Gen X)

In years to come, a lot of Gen Alpha will likely look back on Switch similarly to how many now remember systems like NES or PS2, as a ubiquitous part of their formative years as a gamer, that defined their early experiences with the medium.

Thats why we are the ones who can truly and only answer this question.

Kids dont know what gaming whas like back in the day,we do.

But each time i talk about it i mostly get the" its nostalgia nothing else"  its not thou, but yea.

The same thing could be said about those of us who grew up during the 6th gen though, that we missed out on how great the NES or the Atari were in their time.

I'm not saying it's all nostalgia per se, just that everybody's preference is informed by their personal experience; my top console of all time is the SNES, but a big part of that is probably that I had one back when it was current gen, whereas if I was born in the 2000s and only experienced it as a retro console I might not rank it so highly.
