This is basically how I feel. PS2 had some experimental classics, and it was pretty ubiquitous for early 2000s gamers.
The Switch has a better overall library. Most of the PS2 games I loved are also on the Switch, like FF12 and Okami (I just wish we had Dragon Quest VIII), and FF12 plays a lot better on Switch than it did on PS2l. Along with a huge library of Switch games that were never on PS2, and the Switch has a strong legacy of its own.
