Took a couple of screenshots comparing the docked/handheld visuals.

Docked / Handheld

Seems the main difference is some light sources are disabled and a sizeable reduction in image quality, not noticing many other cutbacks. Definitely upscaling from a low base resolution, there's a lot more visual noise in the handheld version.

I'm not sure what FPS it drops to in handheld, but I doubt it's dropping below 40fps often if at all so a 40fps mode that bumps up the resolution a little bit and has a more consistent framerate would be great to see. In that image the laser gate is probably what highlights the resolution difference the most. The upscaler is having a hard time with it.

Other than the drop in resolution and lighting the other visuals seem mostly to be in-tact. Personally, I would choose how it is currently rather than go all the way down to 30fps though. The beauty of VRR is they don't even need to go all the way down to 40fps, they could cap it at 45,50 or whatever they want in handheld depending on how it is actually performing currently, all I know for sure is it's not 60.
