That's why I don't believe that "strong start" statement that began on Twitter when they posted out of stock images from retailers. Those retailers stock low amounts of "physical" copies to begin with. So shipments were probably quite low as SE knew going into this week what pre-orders looked like.
FF7 remake definitely bombed on Switch 2. The only thing that will give it some possible legs might be the budget pricing. Let's see how that goes. Rebirth is likely going to suffer the same fate but maybe they will add in a god mode for that title too to make it easier for the Switch buyers to get into it.
