4090 was the first card with the 12-pin connector, so I suppose it means 15 cards sold by Inno3D since it's launch over 3 years ago in October 2022.
Even then, that would make about 5 per year from just one board partner, and a relatively minor one that is. Extrapolated to all NVidia GPUs sold in that timeframe this would probably be more than 300 GPUs total.
