I am not going to engage in a debate here, kids, but I will state it for the millionth time: the Switch was a handheld, not a dedicated home console. And since handhelds sell in orders of magnitude far better than dedicated home consoles in Japan, comparing the sales is about as logical as comparing motorcycles to cars.

Also, you can't compare the sales of machines that launched nearly a quarter century apart. The market has changed far too much for that to make sense.
